Pluralsight

As Pluralsight’s Senior Manager of Creative Content, I lead content marketing campaigns that shoot for brand awareness and high engagement. I also manage strategy and production of content including podcasts, live stream broadcasts, long form video, social media, and more.

Long form video

I have produced (and often hosted) dozens of webinars which were published on Pluralsight’s social media channels and included in our demand gen efforts.

Example 1: To support a customer adoption campaign themed around cycling, I had the privilege of interviewing four-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome. This video achieved 242K views in just one week.

Example 2: I filmed, edited, and produced this customer story about a student who learned to code with Pluralsight and went on to be the manager of his high school’s robotics team.

Podcasting

I launched Pluralsight’s first official podcast, All Hands on Tech, in November 2019. This weekly show features discussions around technology trends and other points of interest. I serve as the show’s producer in addition to its co-host.

The show saw over 67K downloads in its first year.

#TechSkillsDay

I developed #TechSkillsDay in 2019 to celebrate the power of technology skills. Secondarily, it encourages brand awareness and community engagement.

  • 2019 saw 1,200 mentions on Twitter and 18K+ people complete a “Skill IQ” assessment (a 250% increase vs. our previous top day.)

  • For 2020 we hosted an epic 5 hour live stream, hosted by Hank Green and featuring guests including Andrew Yang. The live stream got over 1.3 million views across platforms.

Event coverage

Since its inception in 2017, I have created and helped execute the content plan for Pluralsight LIVE, Pluralsight’s biannual user conference with attendees from around the world. This has included live streaming, short form video, blog articles, attendee activations, product announcements, and social media engagement.

Pluralsight’s IPO

Pluralsight became a publicly-traded company on May 17, 2018. For this hallmark day, I built and helped execute a minute-by-minute social media plan, including an activation campaign which gave our users the chance to be recognized in Times Square.
