Workstream is a hiring and HR platform geared toward the hourly workforce. As Head of Brand and Content, I oversee our content strategy, web experience, social media, SEO, PR, and brand strategy.
Hiring Hacks
This short video series was created for LinkedIn and YouTube, and became the top-performing content in our email newsletter efforts, with 1,500 views on average per episode. The series came about in pursuit of two goals:
Produce high quality video content quickly. The episodes can go from concept to published in as little as 3 days.
Create digestible, engaging video content for a discerning B2B SaaS audience.
During my time at Workstream, our YouTube subscribers more than doubled, and overall channel engagement increased accordingly.
Customer and brand videos
I I brought our customer video production in-house, with the goal of increasing quality and ROI.
Example 1: I shot and edited this customer story with the goal of better capturing the personality and challenges of our customers, rather than just having it feel overly promotional.
Example 2: This was a fun video created to announce our Series B extension fundraise.
Podcasting
I launched Workstream’s first podcast, On the Clock, which offers tips and insights for those who care about hiring and retaining hourly employees. As of my departure, the show’s 51 episodes have over 8,700 listens in total.
